I recently got a 2.0 gigabyte polaroid sd card, and put around 30 games in there...however i realized some games like Phoenix Wright and Harvest Moon saves really slowly (clocked at 11 seconds). Is this because of the large space of the sd card or is something wrong?

It's probably the speed of your SD card.

I noticed a big jump in how long save take when the option for compatibility was added. While I haven't taken the time to test it, you could try turning it off, or on low and see if that increases the save speed for games that don't require the option.
