I am confused about devhook.

Does this allow you to run commercial psp roms?  Are commercial psp games available for download just like nds?

Do you need to buy any a flashcart to run psp roms?

Do you need at least one UMD disk to run devhook?

I am interested in hacking a psp just like my ds.

Yes, but its outdated now, the way to go is 3.03oe which flashes the PSP with a hacked version of the PSP's firmware, this allows you to run iso's from the memory stick.

no just a pro duo memory stick, at least 2gb, just create a folder called iso and put your backed up iso images of the games you own in there.

Homebrew goes in a folder called game150

No but compatibility is better if you use UMD mode, a demo disk or movie works fine
