I am using the following tutorial:

I don't understand how to hex edit.  I downloaded 'Hexecute' from:
http://www.zophar.net/utilities/hexutil.html

and opened my MKDS rom named 'SPF-MKDE'.  

I don't understand any of the following:

"Open the modified rom in a hex editor. Go to 0x00004C34. The value there should be 0C (which is hex for 12). This is the number of tracks in your customized list. Change it to 14 (hex for 20). This will allow you change every course in the WFC track list.

From 0x00004C64 to 0x00004C6F, you should find the string "0C0F111317181A2021232526." This is the 12 new tracks. Change them, and the following 8 bytes (up to 0x00004C77) to adjust your track list. "

Where is 0*00004C34?  I looked on the left hand side of hexecute and there are 8 digits.  The closest I get is 00004C30.

Please help me out!

I want to select my own custom tracks for Wi-Fi!  :lol:

00004C30 is right look at that line and find 0C then change it to 14.  then change the track list that is found a little bit under

I think that was me?  I recently changed it to the Pimp Rly pic i made  But it used to be a silhouette of a tennis player

OT:  You stole my job so now i play tennis...oh and jbullfrog.  When you edited the track list does the game freeze halfway down the list?  It did for me but only when i edited.  Unedited workd fine

what do you mean "does the game freeze halfway down the list?"

I this helps, when I customized 12 games instead of 20, there were 8 extra blank spaces at the WIFI choosing list, and no freezing occured>

well i picked all of my 20 favorite courses and when i scrolled halfway down, or past RMB it froze.  However, I could still choose courses below MB by picking random :/  Oh, and if you ever want to race an elite add me
