fMSX rocks! I just got this thing going today, as I have been pressed for time all week. Hint is that you need the MSX and MSX2 roms on the root of the memory card for it to work. You can get them with a quick google search for "fmsx". Just got done playing Zenji and 1942. Emulation is very nice! Too bad frodo isn't up to this level of emulation. Oh well, can't win em all I suppose

Hi zektor, thanks for your DSLink support (actually it is the best english support I've found ), I want to contribute as well, adding a great homebrew which has recently added DLDI support: NDSMail

You can find the official unpatched version here, I tried attaching the patched file but it throws a "Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/ndsmail_054b_dslink_161.zip", perhaps it is too big (205KB)?

I don't have a working access point, actually, so I can't test it, but I can confirm that at least it loads correctly

Yep, all but Doom....as that was not dldi pacthed, but updated from source.

ok thanks that's awesome, i'm looking at replacing my dslink as i've grown tired of patching, and the dslink patcher 1.32 corrupted my microsd card.

i don't want to hijack the thread, but if anyone knows how to fix this, pm me. (i can't format, or delete anything from it. from the command line or windows)

Open a command prompt and format the corrupt memory card in this format:

format drive: /fs:fat

(Where "drive:" is your memory card drive). This forces format.

Even if you replace the DSLink, the only thing you will not be patching are roms (ie: R4..etc), but you will still have the dldi patch homebrew for any card...R4...DSLink and so on.

Make sure every other application that may be using the card is closed (file managers..etc) and try again. If it does not work, well it may be bad. That track error does not sound healthy at all, and I really doubt the DSLink software is the culprit. It may have crapped out while using it, but chances are the card itself was on its way out to begin with.

I have R4 and patched the following using DLDI

dsaim
ndsmail
dsorganize

and all work really well,

i was able to connect ndsmail with my yahoo account
dsorganize connected me to the built in IRC chat
and i was chatting on ds aim too
so it does work
