With 1.7 Firmware and 2.58 software, Hotel dusk/Yugioh and a few other Newer games seem to not want to save, or save gets corrupted. anyone got a fix?

Something wrong with your supercard then. Because Hotel Dusk/Yugioh saves fine on my SCLite and my girlfriend's SC SD.

Mine wont save either so your sc aint bust for sure.

Mine wont save either. I can import saved files from my already saved GBA roms on my computer but when I ether start up a new game or load the imported saved games on my SD card and then save them and reload the save that I made from the game on the card isnt there.

Something similar happened to me right today. I bought a SCSD for a friend, and he said his games weren't saving. I was thinking he was doing something wrong when patching, so I tried myself, and he was right, actually.

Then I tried changing SD card. He had a DIKOM (Italian brand?) 512 MB, I had a Panasonic 1 GB. Mine works perfectly and does actually save. I checked his SD for filesystem errors, but there was none.

So, I guess some SD's just won't save (probably due to subtle hardware differences), try a different one.

What percentage of the time does Hotel Dusk corrupt saves? I have an SC SD and I've saves about 5 times now with no problem. I'm trying to figure out if this is going to happen to some of the people all of the time or all of the people some of the time.
