I was having some serious performance and lockup issues with my DSOne until I realized that I had the DSOne's built-in patching enabled while using ROMs that I had already patched on the PC.  Once I disabled the built-in patching everything was silky smooth.  Make sure to use one or the other and not both.

This might be old news for some of you, but I figured I'd pass it along in case anyone ran into the same problem.
