i DO go to saver once i reboot the ds right after turning it off.  And i load the rom.sav file to the SC but when i boot the rom itself its like if it doesnt even have a save file.  Can anyone help? :?

Do you have firmware 1.7?  Does it say "do you save to SD" or "do you load to SD"?  Because if it says "load", then QPC saving was broken for you in the 1.7 upgrade.  Search the forum for a program called DumpSRAM (I've personally posted about it before) that will give you an alternative to QPC saving.  Instead of going to the Saver tab after rebooting, you load this dumpSRAM.nds file and it will save the contents of the SRAM to a file of your choice.  You just have to set up an INI file beforehand so it knows the locations of the save files.
