Hi
I recentlly purchased a supercard miniSD and super key for a DSlite and im having problems playing my back-ups,When i boot up the the system after doing all the correct procedures im presented with a list of games but after clicking to proceed i get two white screens,

I thought it would be down to the firmware so tried upgrading and after selecting it from the list but also get white screens.

The next thing i did was borrow my brothers miniSD from his phone and it works perfectlly, the only difference in the cards is size mine being 2gig and his been 64meg.
So before i go buy another Minisd card i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of anything else i can try ?
its obviously something to do with the memory card but im not too sure how technology works (noob) surely if there was a problem with the card it wouldnt even show the games in the list ?

Any help advice greately appreciated.

thanks

Just to clarify......FAT and FAT16 are the same thing on the PC.
Current setup:
Onyx DSlite/R4DS/SCminiSD
2gig Transcend card for the SCminiSD
2gig Kingston for the R4DS
4 gigglingbytes of games/apps! WOOT!

phoopipe

Its formatted to FAT.

cheers for replying lads...looks like il have to bite the bullet and purchase another card  :(

kkan

when you put the games on the card do you put them all in the main root directory or each game with its sav file in its own folder !?

sometimes there are problems with large memory cards and mass amounts of files in the main root folder  :(

phoopipe

tried each way but still the same result.

cheers

I have a 2Gig min SD (Kingston brand) and it works fine.

Did you patch the roms with the latest patching software?
If I fail to upgrade the patcher and try running new roms, the roms often fail to run.

To upgrade the firmware you need to run the bin file in GBA mode.  You may want to just eject the super key then run it.  Also what firmware is currently on the SuperCard?  From what I understand some old firmware can not be upgraded directly to the newest version (rather needs to be upgraded "step by step").

But from what it sounds like there is still likely something wrong with you miniSD card (If it plays fine from other cards).
