Hori Screen Protectors - Worth the extra money?

When I bought my DS Lite it came with some bundled screen protectors, but recently they started to look marked and worn, so I peeled the touchscreen one off. Now I can really feel the difference on the screen, and I don't like it so I'm buying new screen protectors as soon as I can. I heard a lot about the Hori ones, I can get them for £7 ($14) delivered, but I could get some other ones for about £4 ($8 ) delivered.
My question is: Are the Hori ones worth the extra money?

Thanks

Yes, Hori screen protectors are definitely the best.  They are super thin and are relatively easy to apply without getting bubbles. Fortunately for me my local Fry's caries them for about $6 each. I don't think they are worth paying $14 each.

try Play-Asia.com, it's where I get mine. Pretty cheap shipping and my last shipment arrived after a mere 4 days (to the Netherlands)

Any word about the Pelican ones?  Or how they compare with the Hori ones?  I wouldn't have installed a screen protector normally, but Elite Beat Agents made me reconsider my touchscreen's health, so I installed the Pelican one I got with my spare styluses.  I haven't really had many issues with it, though it's only been a week or two, so any personal experience would be appreciated.

Hori protector for ds lite $10 from cdwow. about £5, and they often have vouchers around. Trust worthy site, but not great delivery times.

Horis are well worth it, I've had the same one for the longest time, I ripped them off DSLites and put them on new ones, washed them off with water, they still look brand new.

I cannot speak about horis, but i can say that dragon dslite protectors carried by RHS are GREAT! I have taken them off twice and now are on my third dslite and are great. Had this set of protectors since before november! And they are still ticking! I would only buy the dslite versions as they are better than the dsphat versions. Both are the same no sticky tape on the top screen on the dslite version. The top is the same as the bottom.

my 2 cents.

what about invisible sheild?  I have it and its lifetime warranty and you can buy the one that covers your entire ds lite even your stylus :? for not that much more.

Lol saran wrap, does the stylus even work well with it?

The great thing about the Hori screen protectors is that they seem to be made out of the same tough material that the REAL screens have.  They are VERY durable.

I've heard some people say that they don't need screen protectors......I'd rather scratch a protector and be able to change it as opposed to scratching the real screen and be stuck with it that way.

When I bought a skin for my DSlite (the "Retro" skin from decalgirl.com   ) I also bought 2 packs of Hori protectors.

Now, I just need to get that crappy Pelican protector off of my touchscreen.  Trust me when I say the Pelican branded protectors truly suck.  The top one left a glue ring around screen that was a bear to clean off and the bottom one won't let go no matter what I try.

Get the Hori's, you won't be disappointed with them.
Current setup:
Onyx DSlite/R4DS/SCminiSD
2gig Transcend card for the SCminiSD
2gig Kingston for the R4DS
4 gigglingbytes of games/apps! WOOT!

I was applying a Hori screen protector on my bro's DS Lite last week and kinda startef off wrong, so I pulled it off, though it was just like 9 mm or something. Thing is, the protector left some kind of stickyness which was rather hard to remove.

I thought the Hori's didn't leave any sort of residue on the screen? I don't want to take 'em off right now since both mine and my bro's protectors are still in good shape.

The protectors were bought at play-asia.com.
