Hey maybe he can use some sort of Swap File/Virtual Memory from the Slot1 card?!

The DS has no MMU (Memory Management Unit I believe) so swapping is not really possible.  Even if it was, it would wear out your media card pretty fast.

This is why DSLinux is still fairly limited even with the extra 32 MB of RAM.  Since it cannot do the functions an MMU normally would, RAM is used up very quickly.  36 MB in DSLinux feels like a lot less than 36 MB on a PC.

What someone REALLY needs to do is hack the Opera Browser to work in slot 2 cards without needing a slot 1 card.

But don't look at me, I can't program doodly-squat.
Current setup:
Onyx DSlite/R4DS/SCminiSD
2gig Transcend card for the SCminiSD
2gig Kingston for the R4DS
4 gigglingbytes of games/apps! WOOT!
