Hi guys,

I finally received my SuperPass today!

So I've decided to test it out. I'm not 100% sure how its supposed to work, but when I plug in my SuperPass with my latest firmware Supercard, which does not have ANY NDS games in it YET, along with an original game cartridge in the SuperPass, I started my DS, the license screen came up, as well as the "Touch screen to continue".

After touching the screen, it turns white! both screens!

So I've decided to try again, this time with no original cartdridge in the SuperPass, but superpass still inserted, and this time i managed to get into the menu, with the top portion saying "NO DS Game Inserted" and my bottom menu has the "Start GBA Game".

I have 4 original games, all of them US, and I don't have the metroid demo

I've tried all 4 of them and same thing :

1) Mario 64 DS
2) Nintendogs Dashund and Friends
3) Kirby Canvas Curse
4) Wario Touched

Am I doing anything wrong here? Is my SuperPass BAD? or my DS is just not compatible?

What DS do you have? what colour and what region (US, HK, UK, JPN, etc..)

Let's keep cool and calm.  

I have conduct the same experiment using the Kirby boot card and here is what I experienced.

For case 1). The ds boots as per normal but I do not see the "Touch screen to continue" message when the license screen came up and the supercard DS menu boots up automatically.

For case 2). I got what you have and I am able to boot into gba mode and get to the supercard menu.

I suggest you try to add nds games to your card and see if you are able to play the games from your SC.

If not, try reinstall the firmware again, format your CF/SD, and insert your supercard and game cart again.

From what I know only the RED and IQUE DS from china are not superpass-friendly. So I could not be sure of your black DS.

If you are not able to boot the games from SC, I guess maybe there is something wrong with your superpass.  Well then again you can try flashing your ds if you are ok with it. BTW I did not flash my DS cause I am quite clumsy, afraid that I will damage my DS.  :oops:

Ahh, dude that junk happened to me and i posted about it. If you stick a game in the superpass and you dont have your supercard in the gba slot you'll get the white screens. This is what totally sucks about superpass, you can't play your originals without having to take the superpass out. And i have a few originals i like playing and whenever i have to take the superpass out to play them, i have to cram down, then pull it out. Whoever made these things used the worst grade of plastic. I have to use one of my keys on my keychain to pry my supercard out because its such a tight fit. But to answer your question dude, what your experiencing is normal.

hi guys,

now that i'm home (was in the office) i managed to reformat my SD in FAT16. I put in the new firmware, upgraded it. put in one ROM (FIFA) that i converted using the convertor for supercard, the resulting file is XXX.nds.dsi which i put on the supercard.

Still same thing! is my supercard fault

oh, i also started it in GBA mode with L + R buttons pressed
it says my firmware IS 1.50.

and in GBA mode i can't see my *.dsi file. In DS mode I... can't get into DS mode (

I presume that your getting the SC select game menu now on the top screen?

If so try a game that works (as I can't get fifa running, yet most others do)

I suggest a small game like bomberman, or pac n roll to test it with.

If you don't get a menu then, I can't offer any advice, as all i used my passme for was to flash my ds, so I don't have that great big lump of plastic sticking out

nope I can't get the SC menu at all with the SuperPass sticked in with an Original Cart in it.

I can only get to the SC menu WITHOUT an original cart in it, by choosing from the boot menu, in GBA mode...

For the record my supercard has been working fine all this months, first on my GBA SP and then on my DS running GBA games. It was even upgraded to 1.50 when it was out on my GBA SP.

Any help is deeply appreciated!

Are you using CF or SD version of supercard?

I'm gonna try the same thing with my EZF Advance and see what happens...

EZF Advance doesn't work either...
seems like somebody else has the same problem with a black DS
