I am wondering if anyone has the product and if it works (and if it is good, obviously).
Any input is welcome and valued. I am just wondering if I should buy this product or not.

Well, I had the one for the old DS and it sucked.    The batteries would die and require a recharge when the DS wasn't even on.

I would say no.  

If you are looking for grips, try the Swing-Grips from Gamestop.  There's no battery in them, but they are great for peeps with big hands to eliminate cramping and it won't block the GBA port.
