This was posted on the official site taken from the Chinese Site.. Not sure about the validity of the post but doesn;t seem unreasonable
QuoteFeatures of firmware v1.52 as below:
=====================================
- No more loading time feature. Game loads almost within 1 second.
- Game saves can be chosen to be saved on CF or SD or on DS cart.
- Also original conversion method remains, changing of software option available, also able to combine 2 games into 1 rom file total 2 conversion method.
- Directly supports FlashMe (requires no original cart for authentication)
- Supports the removal of original cart after loaded to Rom Menu screen. (not allowed to remove cart during playing game) this helps to save battery power.
PS: A correction in v1.52 firmware. Users who's using v1.50 firmware GBA roms, after doing an upgrade to v1.52 firmware, they can now load and play back all GBA roms that were converted by the v2.30 conversion software.
Official v1.52 firmware patch will be released within this week.
Refer to the official homepage for update.
=============================================================================
Below here are the list of roms been tested by the v1.52 Testers:

0027 cannot be saved. But using FlashMe, you can save the game.

0071 unable to convert
0083 noticeable loading time > 1sec

0016,0027,0058,0083,0085,0121 roms all playable
0096 Perfect
0109 Perfect
0120 Hangs

Tested and proven that Castlevania intro screen does not hang if using highspeed CF.

  Added Info:
- Roms will be loaded and read directly from SDram, thus able to load within 1-2 seconds.
- Conversion software has not much improvement. Due to CF slow reading, expect games like Castlevania to have glitches.
- No worries on game saves and playing of roms >256

So don't assume that all our problems will be solved by the new release

i'm so glad about the one second loading time, know i just want him to make a moonshell for the supercard like the m3 people did and i don't think it would be too hard. :idea:

Does this mean it can play GBA roms directly from a CF card?
If so then that sounds great but I didn't know this was possible because I thought that the supercards hardware was arranged in such a way to emulate the registers and chips of a typical gba cart.
Could this also mean that the slowdown in some games will be gone?
But I'm probably wrong anyway.
sn't it funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?

equalizr

They claim it's fixed. They say there may be some slowdown with video intros but that actualy gameplay runs normal at full speed.
