1. You're fighting Gannon and the power on the DS goes out, then you realize that you haven't saved since the light world?

2. You're playing Animal Crossing, you pull out all the weeds in hope of getting the golden axe, then your friend trips over the power cable and you have to deal with Resetti criticizing you and telling you not to cheat?

3. You're almost done downloading that file that took you three hours, then Internet Explorer crashes and closes everything on your computer?

4. You open Photoshop then accidentally close it again? (for those of you that don't know, it takes about 10 minutes to load... OK it takes more like 30 seconds but that's still alot)

5. You keep trying to delete a file but it says something else is using it and you spend days trying to figure out what it is?

6. You pay hundreds of dollars for Pokemon cards only to find that they are no longer anything but scraps of paper sitting in your drawer a year later that you can't sell because nobody wants them and you can't throw them away because you spent so much money on them?

7. You buy the BEST video card out there then the next week it goes down in price $200 and one twice as fast comes with the price equal to what you payed for yours?

8. You're filling out paperwork, accidentally spell your name wrong, eraser smudges, then you have to walk up to someone and explain that you need to borrow their eraser because you spelled your name wrong, only to find out that it smudged so bad that it's not erasable?

9. People make long pointless threads?

As for number 5 there are a few things to try. You know how XP tells you in the status bar how long a video file is? Well, if you have a broken or incomplete .AVI file XP has a bug where it will attempt to check the file type forever which will mark the file as in-use until the end of time. There is a registry hack to fix this but I don't remember it. A quick google should work. An easier, but more annoying fix is to reboot, do NOT navigate to the directory containing the file and use cmd to delete it. If it's not a broken .AVI try hitting Control-Alt-Delete to bring up Task Manager, find explorer.exe and hit End Process. Your desktop will disappear. Then in Task Manager, go to File/New Task and type explorer. Your desktop will come back. Try to kill the file. This works 90% of the time for me.

And Resetti can kiss my ass too. You don't even get a chance to whack him with the shovel.

HAHA! man, i can relate to pokemon cards...

it sucked me into the collectible card games... wasted coupla hundred on them ($300-400?), then went to yugioh, wasted maybe $150?, then went to Magic, and wasted like $300 somewhere there... maybe more after you tally all those booster buying, single card buying and stuff... damn.. so much money wasted -.-....

damn.

Oh my God. That's hell. Best way to go: OS on one hard drive, all important files on another.

34. You have a project to do, and you REALLY want and NEED to do it, but you just CAN'T get off the computer?
