I am trying to get dpg video working on Moonshell 1.7x.

For version 1.7b0, 1.7b1 and 1.7fb, the readme says to use same moonshell 1.6's folder (moonshl) and simply replace the something_moonshell.nds by the new one provided.

On my Supercard Lite, I am having those problems :

1.7b0 & 1.7b1 (unstable)
Sound from dpg was very strident,…

1.7fb (unstable) & 1.71 (stable)
Sound from dpg isn’t working at all.

For dpg encoding, I was using out of the box settings under dpgenc.exe.

To get Moonshell to work under my SCL (f/w 1.7a from Chishm), I had to choose for MPCF and patch it with the DLDI for SCL.

Feel free to help me out.

P.S. : Yes I kmow, the NintendoDS screens are too small to really enjoy a good movie.  But while riding from places to places in bus or subway, it’s kinda cool to watch Family Guy and stuff,…

I have an SC Lite too, I'll just write a guide of what I did since my sound when playing movies works fine:

------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Setup options:

- Rom Image: SCLT SuperCard Lite
- Language Setting, font file: MS0 ank only (first one on list)

Other than that and the clock setting, I left every other option at default.

2. Took the created files (moonshl folder, and the nds file), and copied them to a folder on my microSD.

3. DPG Encoding: Pretty self explanatory. Dragged the movie file into the window and waited for conversion to be completed and put that file on my microSD.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Then it's just a matter of running the moonshell nds file on your DS, and booting up the DPG. It worked perfectly for me.
My Music

Nearly all of my songs are made with Fruity Loops, except for one where I used Reason. I recommend looking at my ambient stuff, and staying away from old songs, which are pretty crappy.

The Supercard firmware hacks by Chishm and Grizzlybear (sp?) are known to create that sound issue for some reason.  They're currently investigating it.

Is it also hapenning on SD/MiniSD of yours ?!?!

I haven't installed the hacked firmware for exactly this type of reason.
