I've a DS with a Flashme BIOS. I had previously upgraded with the 1.50 BIOS for my Supercard SD and all was working as should be.

I've just reformatted my SD card to FAT ready for the new patched ROMs, added the UPGRADE.scu file (CRC 973646B6) and booted with the Superpass in and without. All I get is:

find upgrade file:upgrade.scu

OLD :Ver 1.50
Now :Ver 1.52
Are you sure upgrade?
A--YES     B--NO

When I press A, I get:

Data verify error!
Please turn off GBA.

I've downloaded the file from about 5 different sites, all having the above CRC in the RAR file.

Any ideas on this and will there be a full BIOS file soon ie xxx.bin ??

Thanks.

Koji

Make sure that you are trying to flash using the SD kernel and not the CF kernel.

TorrentBoy

Thanks for the quick reply.

On the chance that the links were wrong, I got the one from the CF link which has a CRC BF540F73. On trying with Superpass in (DS mode) and without (GBA mode), after pressing A--YES, I get:

It isn't accurate upgrade file.
Please turn off GBA.

BTW, I'm using a SanDisk 2.0GB Ultra II formatted FAT. The card must be fine though cos I've written and read various files from it.

Anymore suggestions?

TorrentBoy

It seems the upgrade doesn't work.

I managed to get sd_152.rar from the main site http://www.supercard.cn which is the full .bin BIOS file. (the site was down earlier - too much traffic I guess :) )

The full BIOS flash worked fine. Now it's time to do some patching  :D

Can anyone explain to me step by step starting with the converter how to save a NDS game. I have tried everything and I cant get it to work. Also did they fix the problem with the converter proporties being black?

You don't need to do anything regarding patching.  You WILL have to right click on the game when you're in the SC software and make sure that save to CF/SD is turned on otherwise it will try to save to the booting cart by default.
As for the M3 lovers, I have an M3 but thanks to romman, I will use his product more since it's smaller, faster booting and only slightly less compatible.  I've only had 1 game freeze on me and only once: Ouendan.
Hell, Ouendan loads 2x faster using my SC SD versus my M3.

Okay I figured out why it wasnt working it was because I was trying to save the marioDS game but that game isnt working for me all the others are. Has anyone got MarioDS to work?

sneef

mario64 DS works great for me!  i was even able to import the saves from my original cart using eeprom tool

rocky

Do you know what rom number name it was? Did you patch it so you can get the first star without it freezing?

sneef

i'm using 0056 mario64 v1.1  trashman

but i believe the issue with the first star is still there.  Like i said in my post, i used e-tool to bring my saves from my original mario 64 cart to the supercard... so the 'first star' issue doesn't affect me.  I don't think that issue has been addressed yet.  the only workaround is to leave that star alone.. i heard that there may be one or two other stars that cause a crash.. but i can't confirm this.

MetroidPrime

The crash at the first star is because of a bad dump. Go to http://retrocovers.com/advanscene/ and get a patch for your rom to repair it. Then it won't crash anymore. Worked for me.

Hey Sneef could you send me your save file through a email or something because I tried the eeprom thing with my original Mario64DS But it does not save still.
