I see you can get this on its own from red hot stuff.  It sounds like you can run GBA stuff from it.  How?  Does it come with a way to interface with it?

Since I got my R4 I've been looking for an all in one solution for the slot 2 to fill in the gaps the r4 can't do.

You can only use it as a GBA cart if you have an EZV. You put your GBA ROMs on the EZV, then transfer them through the DS to the GBA cart. The game then stays on there until you write a new game on there.
The rumble feature and memory pack work with all flashcarts, even proper cartridges as well.

The rumble and ram only work with the EZV too.  It just shows up as a GBA game if you have one in there.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if there is any chance for an EZV expansion for the normal "phat" DS's? I was thinking about getting one... but I'm not going to get a DS lite just for GBA and browser support.

Just to clear up a misconception I personally had for a while - you only need the slot1 cart to write the game to the slot2 cart. Once the game is copied to it, the slot 2 cart behaves just like a normal GBA cart and can be used without the slot1 part.

So you jsut drag and drop and gba game onto the EZFlashV right? Then is there an option, on the slot 1 card, to write the game to the slot 2 card? And how long is the average transfer time? I'd imagine the transfer time must be kind of quick.
Setup:
White Lite
Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

I don't actually have the kit yet. But I have a habit of spending insane amounts of time reading up on things that are over 50 bucks. :) I've heard the transfer rate is kinda slow. I hope it's not too bad. And DS games are drag-and-drop clean roms, but GBA games do need to be patched with the EZ4 patcher. And I believe that yes, you copy games to the slot2 cart from the slot1 interface.

i was thinking of how it could function as a 1:1 gba cartridge...

does this mean Pokemon and other roms can now be GBA linked?

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work that way, but you'd need someone who actually has the set to be able to test it.

I should have it in a few days. Maybe when I've had time to play with it I'll post my findings about it and try and answer some of our questions. I am a bit concerned that nobody else seems to have this. I hope I didn't just buy some strange funky card. :)

From what I hear in the EZ Flash forums, the rumble is great, the gba is a bit slow to write, but great support, and of course the browser works.  I think it is cuz no one has an ezflashv, thats why no one has it.  I just hope that the R4 support will come soon.

Isn't M3 working on one of these?  Let's hope it works with the R4 too :)

i have an ezflash V and LOVE it, but there's no need for me to grab the 3-in-1 pack, because I use G6Lite for my gba games, and now it works as a RAM pack for opera with a new patch, and I think rumble's weird on a DS..

Well, according to ezflash's website "Rumble function: Perfect works with all official rumble enabled games."

Does this mean with original cart?.  Now, I'd like the gba support but I don't need.  I am mainly looking for a combo rumble and ram cart.  I hate switching between all of these.

I find rumble necessary, at least with Clubhouse Games.  I tend to watch tv or other stuff while playing, so it's nice to know when it is my turn.

Ummm official rumble enabled games mean that they are giving rumble to games that were designed to use rumble.  Unlike the Supercard Rumble which just rumbles as it pleases, this one only works with games that support rumble officially.
