when i run the firmware upgrade (from v.1.50 to 1.52)

I get this message:  

Data verify error!
Please turn off GBA

anyone else have this issue?  i can't understand why it's happening.  I even re-downloaded the upgrade just in case

I didnt get that. When I put it on the card and started it went into an autoupdate thing and update the firmware. Used freedownload manager to get mine from the site.

Make sure you downloaded the correct version! CF and SD versions of the updates are different.

i had the correct version.. don't know why, but after i reformatted my SD, and tried again, it worked!  weird...

i got the same message. I kept pressing A and it worked.
