ohhhhh thanks guy, you are big help. If you guys need any help with PSP's Homebrew i can help you. but im new at the NDS, thanks again.

But one more question, how do i transfer the GBA rom to the card? i dont have a slot on my PC to plug the card in. When i buy the card, does it come with an adapter that allow me to connect to my PC?
Also does it support cheat?

Thank you very much

Altor

I've heard a lot of complaining about the EZV expansion, making me apprehensive to buy one.  Not to mention that I'd like to have it match my white NDSL.  If they made a white shell, I'd take the risk.

I only play like 3-5 GBA games, total... usually one for a long period, like fire emblem or something.  Aside from that, I like real DS games a lot more.

In the case of SC Lite, M3, and EZ4, they're really adapters, not game cartridges like the G6.  G6 needs a special adapter or something.  SC Lite et al, they all use microSD cards, and need a way to plug them into your computer.  MicroSDs are basically like your Memory Stick things, or floppy disks if you're old enough to remember those ^^

Usually if you go on eBay you can find an auction for a microSD card which will include the adapter.

Ready for more confusion?  There are actually two adapters!  The first adapter makes the MicroSD card into the size of a regular SD card.  The second adapter lets you plug the "SD card" adapter into one of your computer's USB ports.  Make sure the auction you buy from has both of these adapters.

Don't pay more than $30 USD total (including shipping etc) for a 1 gig MicroSD.  Any price higher than that, and you'll be paying more than you would at a regular online store.

If you live in Canada, here's a good deal:

As you can see, this one includes the MicroSD card and the MicroSD-to-SD adapter.  SD-to-USB adapters are worth pennies, but it can sometimes be difficult to find one at a good price - retail charges like $9.99 minimum, up to like $29.99 for fancy ones.

Yea i know how to transfer NDS roms to my mirco SD card. i was wondering how to connect the EZV expansion to my computer, is there a wire or usb adapter that connect it to my computer, and does it come in the package too?

sneef

you dont' connect it to your PC.  You write GBA roms directly to it from the EZV, with the EZV plugged into Slot-1, and the expansion plugged into slot-2

What if i dont own a EZV, but i own a M3 Simply card, is that ok?

PharaohsVizier

Yes, you need a patcher, it doesn't support all roms yet I think, but they are working on it real fast.  It'll probably support everything by the time you get it shipped.

Pham_John

kool thanks you very much, do you know what the patcher call?

PharaohsVizier

Ummm first off, you need to patch the rom off the ez flash iv client.  Which can be found at www.ezflash.cn.  Then you need to load the GBA rom with a homebrew ds loader which runs on your m3 simply because the cart itself does not recognize GBA files, this can be found at http://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?t=4171.

Thank you very much pharaohsvizier, your great help, we need more people like you in this forum.  Once again thank you.

Hi, have they made a patch so the expansion works with the R4 (being almost the same as the m3)?

Thanks,
Lemoe
