Hey guys, i was wondering is there anyway to play back-up GBA roms on the NDSlite using a M3 simply slot 1 card. if yes can some one show me how. thank you very much guys.

sneef

No there is not.

You will need a slot-2 device, such as the m3 lite, or the supercard lite, in order to play GBA roms.

Pham_John

ohhh thank you very much, which one do you recomend me to buy?

dantheman

If you can tolerate slowdowns and occasional incompatibilities, you'd be fine with an SC lite.  Otherwise, the more expensive M3 Lite has much better GBA compatibility.

i was looking at the 3 in 1 expansion pack for EZV, i dont know if this is good or not, im looking forward to play one or two GBA game in the card, i only own 2 gba games. so you think the 3 in 1 expansion pack for EZV is a good one?

sonicwind

why does no one mention the Ez4 lite deluxe?  He didn't mention he needed opera browser and EZ4 has the best gba compatibility for less than a supercard lite

Pham_John

hmm Ez4 lite deluxe? im sorry i forgot to mention that i dont need any other extra thing on my card, i just need it to play GBA at a regular speed like a gameboy advance.  Thank you for ur replies.

Just wondering: how many GBA roms can a 3 in 1 expansion pack for EZV hold? it doesnt tell me how big is the memory.  and can it run like pokemon fire red?

Thank yous.

sonicwind

It doesn't hold any roms on itself, they are held on the slot 1 and use the 3 in 1 to boot.  But I don't think they have gotten that to work well with the m3/R4 yet.  Your better off getting an EZ4 lite deluxe since It plays all the gba at full speed I think.

yes it does. the 3 in 1 expansion pack will act as a REGULAR GBA cartridge after you burn a game onto it. and the max games it can hold is ONE... a 1-1 replica... haha...

You use the EZ5 to transfer the game to the 3in1, but after that you can boot it from memory...

Is that true? I always thought it could hold more than one. That's pretty stupid. I was going to get the EZflashV bundle edition. But I guess I'll just get the EZFlashV.

I have my G6 for gba games. And that card has absolute 100% perfect compatibility. And since that Opera Browser works with it now too, I guess I really don't need the 3in1. It just would've been nice to have.
Setup:
White Lite
Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

The GBA cart only stores 1 game because it's designed to be used with the EZ5 which can store lots of games. If it stored any more, it'd need much larger memory and end up costing a lot more.

One thing you guys might want to know is that despite the fact that there are a few patches for now, the 3-in-1 doesn't officially support the M3 Simply.

Pham_John

ohhh Ok the thing is that i want to play a BGA game call MEDABOT, that the only game i want to play, so what is the best/cheated card to get? and which card is the EZ4 lite deluxe  can you give me a link there:

1.  Im looking into buying this:
http://www.realhotstuff.com/expansion-pack-p-194.html
after i buy this, do i need a passme or anything like that to play MEDABOT? also 2. how do i transfer/burn MEDABOT into the card.  3.  Also when im done with the the Game, can i deleted it and put in a new game?
i already own a M3 Simply with a 2GB micro SD card.

Also some of you guys mention  a M3, but which one are you talking about?

Thank you Very Much

PharaohsVizier

The expansion pack works fine with M3 Simply, and it is relatively cheap.  It only holds 1 game at a time, however you can delete it.  No you do not need anything else.  It is relatively easy to transfer.

The M3 they are talking about is a slot 2 M3, probably the M3 Lite, which is probably the best solution.  It works as the opera web browser expansion pack, holds multiple GBA games, great NDS support, however it does cost quite a bit.

Perseid

The EZ5 expansion pack is rather slow to copy(up to 2 minutes) so if you switch between GBA games a lot the expansion pack will get on your nerves quick.
