Is this allowed on this board? I thought there were no rom requests. The rule was made with nds roms in thought, but I think this applies to snes roms. I don't think you should ask this here.

I highly doubt you'd find any emulator that runs whatever a ".snes" file is.  SMC files stand for "Super Magicom," the name of a popular SNES copier back in the day, and it's pretty much the standard for SNES rom files.  Run them in any standard emulator like ZSNES or SNES9X.  These are also the files that all SNES emulators for the DS use (though I think SNEmulDS can also take .sfc and .fig if I remember correctly).

I'm pretty sure rom requests aren't allowed though.  Fstarter's link is alright as it's just rom hacking/conversion utilities, not actual rom files.  Still, the thread overall is in violation of the rules.

I only posted this so that i could find games that i own so i could use them portably.

I was simply trying to use the .snes fuction on the card but i guess itll og unused thank you anyway. it was more of a conversion request anyway. Peace

You misunderstand.  There is no such thing as a .snes file to begin with, at least not one that any major emulator will understand.  

Regardless, what card are you using?  I don't think there are any cards with built-in SNES emulation.  It would also help if you showed us where you got the impression that SNES was supported right out of the box.

We can help you here, but you need to be specific and you need to know what you're talking about.  We can't help you find the roms, but we can help you emulate them on the DS.
