Have you guys encounter any problems with your Nds Lite besides the hinge crack? Post em and share =/

I've recently unable to full charge my nds lite (1.5hrs) and the gaming time would max only last me about (2hrs) with 2brightness + max sound =/ It aint the battery problem coz i got i changed but it still aint working... is the a possibility that my nds lite is utilising loads more energy now?! o.O

did you buy some aftermarket battery?  Because all of them that look better than the nintendo one all suck.

I got myself Dragon replacement batts but i've tested on my frens nds and it seems to last 5-6 still running. . ..

One question: My friend says all the white DS Lites come with a hinge crack as you referred to in your first post.  Is this true?

It tends to happen with the old batches of nds lite? Coz mine is jap imported =/

Only problem I've had is the cracked hinge. And I'll be sending it in before June 11th(that is when it launched last year for the US right?) to get it fixed.

some minor problems i've noticed:

- the touch screen is not perfect. even if you calibrate it, the lower middle part can be "out" by a few millimeters. you can confirm this by using the paint program, and drawing some vertical lines using a ruler.

- screen strobing. not sure why, but on some ds units, there is a noticeable strobe where the screen appear to almost flicker as you turn up the brightness.

- colours not uniform. sometimes, if the screen is displaying solid colours, when you tilt the screen you can notice lines running across the shape. in the stationary position it all looks good.

Anyway how long u guys take to fully charge your ndslite set? Mine is roughly 2.5hrs

I'm not sure, how long it takes when the charge is fully depleted. But when I notice it hit the red, it usually takes around an hour to get another full charge.

So roughly 2- 2.5 hours is probably around the time it would maybe take to charge a totally depleted battery.

h8uthemost, how long does ur batt last? I've figured out my previous problem... turned out to be the charger, with 2nd brightness it'll last me ard 6hrs? is it normal?
