Hey peeps,
i bought a new wireless router and made all the changes to the ds he new wep key and ssid name and the new ip address and everything and now i cant even pick up the wireless router.

but the router will see the ds lite. and if i re do the test on the ds lite it will be the wireless router up.

any ideas/

Did you erase and make a new wifi configuration on your ds?

if the ds isn't picking up the signal then just put in the information manually instead of using search for access point.

This probably won't help much, but make sure SSID Broadcasting is enabled on your router.  From what you said though, it sounds like the Lite can find the router sometimes after you do a specific thing, so perhaps this isn't the case.  Regardless, official games should be able to connect with SSID broadcasting disabled, so following sonicwind's advice should let you connect even if you can't find it in a search.

Also make sure that your router is in B mode, as the DS doesn't support G and I think I've heard of people that had problems with the mixed B+G mode.

Ds supports G otherwise mine would never have worked.

Hm, guess I was wrong.  I must be thinking of how it only works with WEP and not WPA.  Could have sworn it supported B only, but looking at Wikipedia it seems like this is not the case.

hey fellas sorry for the late reply, i managed to sort it out. i did alot of security shit on my wireless router and forgot to add the ds to the access list.

was working great all night last night, 6 hours of non stop tetris wifi fun.

what i want to know when you play someone y do they move so fast and you are so slow and moving the pieces down is there a turbo button for droping the peices.
