I bought a SC Lite from Parer Place for $130 CAN.  I am thinking about gettign a SCDS at Crystal MAll for $60 CAN (!)   I'm wondering if it is worth buying another SuperCard.  If yes, why? If no, Why?  Other Flashcart suggestions?

Yea, the SCDS is great, I bought it from Crystals as well (there are two stores right by each other selling them for the same price). As long as you have the microSD already it should be a good buy. It works great, one slot and all. If you don't mind spending the money I'd say go for it.

And while your there ask the guy about the GBA Union function (see my other topic on this same board) XD. Tell me what they say.

P.S.  Can a Kingston 1GB microSD (0646G97043U SD-C01G JAPAN*)  Work on the SCDS?

Lol, crazy, everyone is from Vancouver.  Have you seen Admirality Center in Richmond?  It is hilarious, they charge like $200 for an R4DS.

Lol, i know.  What a ripoff! Even at Parker Place, where I got ripped off, sells a SCLT for $130, while Crystal Mall sells it for $50!

That Kingston with that Serial Number works great in the SCDS, it's what I use.

That Kingston with that Serial Number works great in the SCDS, it's what I use.

lol which one is kenneth? I know there is one store and then another called XSkin. I didn't buy it from XSkin, bought it from some chinese dude wearing glasses. Got like a 360 going and they're always playing some Fifa game.

Anywho, I use the same Kingston SD, works great.

If you don't have a microSD in the Slot-2 Card, can you still use the Opera Browser?

The newer SCDS's (with the new packaging) do not have a chip under the label, they fixed that after the 2nd batch already, I believe.

You don't need a microSD for your slot 2 card to work the Opera Browser, but you do need a slot 2 that has RAM, so anything from the SC CF, the various version of SD, Mini SD and Micro SD will work, but none of the Rumble series will work. Don't quote me on that though, lol.

Check the reviews for R4DS and SCDS on www.gbatemp.net and make your decision. I prefer the SCDS, but I can't say I've actually tried out the R4DS to really know what the difference is. I just trust and support the SuperCard team, I've never had a problem with any of their carts, and I've owned the SC CF, SC SD, SC Lite Rumble, SC Lite, and now the SCDS.

It sure does! You can definitely use that for the Opera Browser.
