Mine was Crystal version. I didnt add mystery dungeon, or pinball because those arent like the old school ones.

I got to say, the original Pokemon Blue was the greatest.  Even to this day...  Everyone I know has a copy, and I played that game to death.  Although Pokemon Leaf Green is pretty tempting too...

I was also between these two.  However, I settled with Pokemon LeafGreen.  While Pokemon Blue is a classic, I think that LeafGreen and FireRed did an amazing job remaking the original games.  So I'll have to go with LeafGreen.

pokemon gold was amazing...

color - DAY NIGHT! breeding - Trading to old RED and BLUE versions! wow... amazing...

and still 251 pokemon... when it was countable... now theres like 492?.. LOL

pokemon blue no question.  All the rest are really just remakes to make money.  The first actually had puzzles and.......99 rare candies and 99 master balls no gameshark needed xD. plus it had squirtle. comon......

not to mention the duplicating glitch found in gold...

the black hole of BOX 8.. haha

...

well i used it to duplicate eevees cuz they were hard to get from the casino.. :(

Yellow has got to be my favorite, you get Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander AND Bulbasaur all in one game no trading at all i loved that game

Bit of Blue for me. I had a brilliant team on that game and always hooked it up to Pokemon Stadium. I remember the last of the 151 Pokemon I got was a Kabutops and I remember how distraught I was when my save file from Blue got deleted. Oddly enough, I remember my trainer number was 14854.
