Hi all

Just a quick query regarding Reinmoon 06

I can transfer my saves from my original games to my DSOne using the above program, but I have to run it from a slot 2 device first.

When I put Reinmoon onto my memcard and put it in my DSOne, it freezes at the initial load up screen.

This is okay for me as I have a Slot 2 device, but I have a friend who only has the DSOne.

Has anyone had this problem and if so was it overcome.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I had the exact same problem. I don't have a slot-2 anymore and I really want to rip the save from my original carts but I can't  cuz all I have is a DS1 too.

Dudu.exe

for a Slot 1 backup app.. must be totaly new system.. becouse you should have the game on slot 1 .. so you may need to sava somewhere.. wifi should work..

and probably you will need to lounch the app via  wmb

What about a program to transfer files from the GBA slot using the supercard? Similar to reinmoon.

Using a slot-2 Supercard, try Chishm's Cart Save program - http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/SendSave/index.html#cart_save

Be warned though that there's a good chance the GBA/DS will reboot once the Supercard is reinserted.  I've managed to do it on a DS by pushing the right side in and going very slowly, and I was able to do it once while testing this program, so I can confirm that it does work.  I wasn't able to prevent my GBA from rebooting using any method.

Dudu.exe

well i guess we are talking about DS games?

I thought Romiress was asking if there was a way to backup GBA game saves using a Supercard.  Looking back, I'm probably wrong.

Romiress

Yah, I am talking about GBA roms.

:D To be specific, a way to port pokemon saves so I can get all those rare 'only through a contest' ones.

If anybody is just dying to get their sav games onto the supercard DS One, try savsender. It uses a WiFi connection to netcat on a PC to send the data.

I used an SMS memory stick  (£4 on ebay) and my GBA SP to copy saves to from original cart then I put in my Supercard and get it to write the save to supercard ram, finally in the supercard menu save the .sav !

it worked really really well - both ways - in fact saved me starting Final Fantasy IV again !
