Well, I just ordered mine today. So I'll get in a couple days.

But anyways, on the G6 site, on the description page, is says:

- Excellent homebrew support thanks to the DLDI auto-patcher . (release it
on June 07 )

So, today is June 7th, and there is no DLDI auto patcher for download. So does anyone know about this? Is it available somewhere else?

I just hope I'm able to run homebrew on it, by the time mine arrives on Monday or Tuesday. If not, I can just continue to run it on my other flash carts, until they get it released.

I think they meant June 07, as in June 2007.

Oooh...well that sucks. I was hoping to have the DLDI auto patcher for when my cart arrives. It probably won't come until the end of the month or something.

Thanks

Quote from: "hiddenone"None of those links are working. Here is one but you'll have to register to download. Although its worth it as the download is fast (500KB+)

Enjoy my friend:

What is suppose to be in that link? Because I'm not seeing anything about AR for the G6 DS. But, I'm usually blind though.

The links on the G6 site work(the same links that Pharaoh posted on page five), so don't you just paste that Cheat Database file into the NDS folder, then activate the cheat in the menu?

Or...can't I use the method to create a .xml file, like how power2pc explained to do in this thread, and put that onto the root of the cart?

Thanks for any info.

Yea it was me not understanding the instructions.  They had two sets, and one told me to do one thing, and the other told me to do something else.  Basically you take their file, and then put it inside your cart, when you boot your game, you click select file, and then you select it, and you have your cheats.

Sweet. Because the Moddz.com review was saying that you had to find out the games i.d. and blah, blah, blah...

So it's nice to know that all you have to do is drop the cheat file onto the cart.

Quote from: "h8uthemost"It doesn't affect me personally.
Corporate scare-mongering, dishonesty, and truth-stretching affects everyone.  If the victimized cartridge gets a significant hit in sales because the other company says it harms your DS or causes cancer or something, the victimized cart will have fewer sales and won't be able to have as good support in the future as a result.  And then if that victimized company realizes that these tactics must be used to be competitive, now we have a marketplace where no manufacturer can be trusted.  Nothing's clear anymore.  It's like the Wii modchip scene - a certain modchip claims it has an audio fix while it really doesn't, because another company does the same thing.  Now we must triple-verify every claim a manufacturer makes because there's so much bogus, things advertised as "features", when really it's something that's unavoidable and every chip has that feature, it's just not advertised since it seems so obvious.  Now people see that and say, "What?  It has that?  The others don't say they have that!  The others are a ripoff!"

Another example is the fact that we now buy cards advertised as "16 GB"... well that's actually 2 "GB" as anyone would define GB.  It's already happening, I'm not just making this up.  You can bet what happened is, one company said "64 MB" storage!", then the other company said, "512 MB storage!"... which would you buy?

My english is crappy tonight, I got my wisdom teeth out and the drugs they've got me on for the pain have got my head all fuzzy, sorry if that was hard to make sense of.

That's the reason that I always wait for flashcards' reviews before buying them. Cyclo and G6 promises a bunch of features, but is it all really true ? I'll wait for costumers' first impressions too. Last year I bought a EZFlashII + EZpass2 and a Supercard SD + Superkey, and it was a disaster. They promised features that they don't have.

Actually, that's just the companies taking advantage of the fact that there are 8 bits to a byte.  They'll advertise it as 512 Mb which is 512 megabits, which is equivalent to 64 MB aka megabytes.  Usually you'll just see a "16 G" card or sometimes "16 Gb" but you shouldn't ever see a "16 GB" that doesn't contain about 16 gigabytes of space (though then you have to watch out for the fact that 16 gigabytes can be considered 16 billion bytes or 17,179,869,184 bytes, plus the space it takes for formatting).
