Well I didn't own the Supercard MiniSD until the major updates that Supercard was undergoing, so I was always impressed by the Supercard.  However, I hadn't gotten the chance to play around with an M3, any M3.  But recently, the G6 Lite has opened my eyes to what potential the slot 2 cards have.

BTW My G6 Lite review is delayed because of some minor problems.  And also, I'm going to receive a G6 DS Real for reviewing soon too.

Can't disagree with the truth,lol. The old Supercard SD, and MiniSD had slow down problems until Supercard upgraded the chip when they released the Supercard Lite. People had to go and get 25x and above speed cards just to get games like Metroid to play. Also just found out Ultimate Spiderman does not work on this G6 Real.

Did you try downloading it from a few different sites, or are you using just one dump?

I had a problem with this game on my DS-Linker. It would freeze after like the first opening cut scene, when the bell was ringing. But I downloaded it from somewhere else, and it fired right up.

The same rom works fine in my M3 Simply. It also freezes up when I play Sims 2 on it.

That sucks. I can't believe there are games that aren't working on it. I couldn't care less about the homebrew or download play. But if actual games are giving it trouble, maybe I won't end up getting it.

There is a new update out for the G6 Real (2.0). There is no change log though through testing I can say it fixed download play for Mario Kart but not Mario Hoops or Metorid. Also the OS is faster and Ultimate Spider-man is working perfectly now.

So would you say it is possible to get all download play working eventually via updates?

I couldn't say but I know they got at least 1 to work through an update that didn't work before.

Wasn't it suppose to be released a few weeks ago? I'm still checking around finding a place to buy one.

I guess they're waiting to get those couple problems fixed before they release it.

Did you guys hear about the new thing they are releasing, the video, browser, etc?  Sounds like something nice to launch the G6DS Real with.

They say it will be on all of the M3/G6 devices soon enough though which will be interesting.

WOOOT I just got my G6DS Real, I didn't even know it was coming.  Anyways, going to run some tests right now.
