XD hi, well, ive been a bit confused with trying to setup my DS-Link (Slot-1) as i read that I have to flash my DS, which is fine with me (got one that i can even take back if the flashing does not succeed >D) and i have a supercard lite w/superkey already, so what i basically want to do is flash my DS with it so that I can use my Slot-1 DS-Link by itself without anything from my supercard XP any help at all would be appreciated and i can answer any questions if i didnt make myself clear enough...

ive seen some things about flashme but i think it'll only boot from slot-2 and not slot-1, so i dunno~

Hi. Next time try the forum search feature before you ask questions that have been answered hundreds of times. lol I will help you anyway because you have a DS-Link. ;)

Flashing a DS with a Superkey and Supercard Lite is pretty straight forward . . .

1) Wrap a toothpick with a thin layer of tinfoil
2) Copy flashme.nds (v7 lite) to your microSD card
3) Plug in your DS and remove the battery cover
4) Put Superkey and Supercard Lite in your DS
5) Boot your DS to the Supercard menu
6) Run flashme from the Supercard menu
WARNING DO SHUT OFF YOUR DS AFTER NEXT STEP
7) Make sure your DS is plugged in and your battery can not fall out
8 ) Pressing X B X B to begin flashing your DS firmware
9) The progress indicator will count up after you short SL1
10) After the progress indicator reaches 100% it is safe to power down and test DSLink

Here is better tutorial with video by SCdev.org member darkuni (Shane R. Monroe) . . .

Congratulations. See flashing a DS isn't that difficult. I'm glad your DS-Link is working. Don't forget you can use your Supercard Lite as a Opera RAM pack for DS-Link.
