I"m having this weird problem with the homebrew game MegaETk, and DSOrganize.

I patched DSOrganize a couple days ago and threw it on my R4. And it worked just fine. The web browser worked too. But now, I just threw it on my R4 again, after DLDI patching it, and now the web browser won't start.

Also, with MegaETk, there is no sound, and the touch screen buttons in the games menu, won't work, on my R4. But...I patched the game and threw it on my DS-Linker, and it works just fine. There's sound, and the touch screen buttons work. The game just won't save.

But when I patch it throw it on the R4, I'm getting these problems. I even tried it without patching it.

Anyone know what could be causing these problems? I literally just started using homebrew a couple days ago, so I know basically nothing about it. So please forgive me if these problems are caused being cause by something really obvious. Maybe someone could try MegaETk on their R4, and see if they're having the same problems?

It could be card corruption.  Right-click the drive in Windows Explorer and hit Properties.  Go to the Tools tab and have it check for errors, checking only the first checkbox.  Now go to Tools - Folder Options - View tab - find the option to unhide system files and hit Okay.  Look at your card.  If you see a hidden FOUND000 folder, the card was likely corrupted.  Copy your files back onto it now that it's been run through Checkdisk.

Is it the option to Show Hidden Files and Folders, under the Hidden Files and Folders part?

And if that was it, than no. No files like that came up. I'm not sure what the problem is.

Sorry, I should have checked to be more specific.  You'll want to make it show both hidden files (which you did) and also "protected operating system files" (which I think the FOUND000 folder is).

If that fails, you can always reformat the card I guess.  It's a pain in the butt, but it should fix the issues.

I think it is something to do with R4. Bug the manufacturer for a firmware upgrade.
