That may be true, but dust particles probably wouldn't fit in that tight crack.  Better idea!  Grease with KY jelly, thats always good for tight holes.

sorry for the late answer, i frist use a 1000 but the 1500 did a better job.

Just a a thought, but maybe try some silicone grease.  This stuff is used for moving printer parts and safe for plastic.  A couple of tiny little dabs in the right spot should be more than enough.  This stuff is a thick kind of jelly so it wont seep out of the GBA slot.  Look for it in a electronic supply store.
