Well we all know moonshell is amazing homebrew pro reading text, view images, listen music, ans watch video...

whouldnt be nice if romman make it the main menu on Supercard for DS???

and now, if the good video sizes with the new encoder.. and the good text read.. the only think left is to put the supercard files to work..


for expert people like cory.. it is possible?

That would be great but I think moonshell would be too big for the supercard to hold, unless you could put it on your SD or CF card and have it boot of it.

I reckon the SC team should allow people to have some sort of default shell or something, like whenever the SC boots in DS mode it searches for a shell.nds file or something on the SD, if it finds it it boots that instead or something.

yea they realy need to do something about the menu, even a new looking text menu would be great, like one with some color.

i was totally thinking about this too! :lol:  it is a great idea. Dudu, send romman and email asking him if this would be possible, i'm sure(if it's possible) that romman would be willing to do something :idea: .... :wink:

or romman can make a new fiwmware were the main menu of the supercard can read the movies music and stuff and automaticly will boot moonshell but he not a bad id that moonshell iwll be the main menu but the only thing is then can we modify moonshell then couse then it will be in the firmware but we cand add our own background startupsounds and stuff.

New menus are a nice idea, but I wouldn't want him to start concentrating on that while there are many incompatibilities with GBA roms. Lets get Super Monkey Ball Jr to run first!

I have it as well. I personally like MB Jr, and would like to see it working, along with quite a few other titles that just "white-screen it".

But, back on topic. I think Dudu is on to something really with a nice touch screen menu system. I would like it alot actually. But still, my personal thought is that GBA compatibility be the number one priority. Afterall, the SC is first and foremost a GBA device.

The only way you could add a touch screen was if you had it boot off a program on your card, the supercard only has so much memory for the firmware and I dont think it could hold a touch screen menu. moonshell should work, someone should ask him if he could change it.

monkey ball jr works for me i dont like it i like the ds better only the contoles are so weird but it works on my but i want that the slowdown in tonyhawks undergorund 1 will be fixed couse i love that game ive got the ds versionbut the gba versions are just as nice

nao sou mto bom em ingles, moonshell como menu principal ficaria orimo pra quem usa o DS, mas tenho uma outra ideia para o menu do supercard, principalmente porque uso GBA:
quando salvamos um game, o supercard poderia salvar a tela do jogo, e quando voltassemos ao menu, poderia mostrar a tela como fundo do menu, assim teriamos um "preview" do jogo, isso seria otimo.
Se vc pudesse postar essa ideia em ingles...

For the friend dudu.exe: nao I am mto good in ingles, moonshell as main menu would stay orimo pra who uses the DS, but I have an another one ideia for the menu of the supercard, mainly because use GBA: when we save a game, the supercard would be able to save the screen of the game, and when voltassemos to the menu, would be able to show the screen like bottom of the
menu, like this teriamos a "preview" of the.  If vc could place that ideia in ingles..  vlw

Are you saying being able to save and have the save picure display next to the save in the supercard menu? I would like to be able to put a picure on the backgound of the supercard or somethig. They realy need to do something about that menu, I dont like it.

I´ve talked with romman via msn today.. he said " Moonshell is too big to fit in firmware " ..


but i didnt ask about keping the files on cf .. and boot from there
