hello, i just got my superpass 2, i still haven't got a supercard but it should arive soon. Well, as soon as i got the superpass 2 i went and updated it, only after that did i see that "A silver DS bought in MK:DS bundle is most probably NOT installed with FW4!". i thought... oopss... maybe i need superpass 1, since i have a siver DS bought in MK:DS bundle.
My question is... will my updated Superpass 2 still work even if i only needed a Superpass 1 ?

Yes, superpass 2 can work with the old firmware as well, though I think your DS probably needs a superpass2.
