I just got my Super Card mini SD today and I need some help! I've downloaded the patching software, but I don't know what files to patch since there are three files in the zip archive for PixelFixer. These are:

- pixelfixer2.ds.gba

- pixelfixer2.supercard.nds

- pixelfixer2.nds

Which ones am I supposed to patch? And when I patch, do I have to change something specific in the options or properties? ANd when they're donw, all I do is paste them onto the miniSD card? Because I've tried several times and it just loads the game forever - the numbers at the beginning go on forever...

Any help would be much appreciated.

none, dont patch any they are already set up to run according to your flashcard. In this case just drag the: -pixelfixer2.supercard.nds
to your sd/cf card.

Right .. the patching software is designed to patch COMMERICAL titles that access functionality like wifi and saving to a real DS card's RAM.

So, homebrew stuff will not require patching.  With regards to homebrew, if you have a .nds file available, use that.  When you have a gba.ds file, like myfile.gba.ds, usually renaming this to myfile.nds will do the trick.

Good luck.

as long as the file is appended with ndsloader.bin, you can run it on supercard with no modification to the file (other than changing the extension from gba to nds)... if the homebrew you downloaded is just ".nds" then it probably needs to be appended with ndsloader.bin.  if it ends in ds.gba, then it has already been done, and you just have to change the extension to nds for the supercard's firmware to recognize it as a NDS file.

[edit] and in regards to your pixelfixer download, when it has "supercard" or "sc" in the filename or extension, then it is already appended, and renamed for sc use. [/edit]
