I am having a problem saving my New Super Mario Bros sav file to my SD card.  I play the game with no problems, and I save the game, quit the game, and go to save the game to the sd card.  It says it saves but when I turn off the DS lite it and turn it back on the game has lost the save!  

I have tried different options in the patches, I have the new kernel (1.62) and the new patcher software 2.541 sd.

Please HELP!

DS games save automatically on Supercard and directly to the memory card. When you manually save, you are overwriting the save with blank data from the saver memory.

Just save the game noramlly in game, and that's it.

GBA games still have to be manually saved?

yes.. GBA is a diferent kettle of fish, you do have to manually save.
