smb: Help! 3 stars ending

I've collected and spent all star coins, I found all red flags (or at least I thought so) But I still only have 2 stars.

Ran through World 1 to World 8 and couldn't locate what is missing.. I'm pulling my hairs out.

Can somebody help me?

you need to use all the cannons on the map, even if you dont need them.

Unless you are a purist and want to find everything yourself!
Although some of them are plain evil, espcially the ghost houses with the switch order pressing and backtracking....

I remembered this scene from early childhood, where I went into a gaming centre, and there were 5 nerds sitting in front of 5 nintendo consoles trying every possible combinations, to crack the 30 lives code for Contra II..

Yeah.. it's better if I don't know..
