Anyone know how the NES games are saved?
I see in the emulator options you can save states.
Is there any other save methods?
And where is the data stored?
Can it be backed up?

Found the answer...

1. copy a xxxx.sav file
2. rename xxxx.sav filename to the same name as .GBC or .NES game. Such as contra.nes, you should rename xxxx.sav to contra.sav
3. put the two file contra.nes, contra.sav to your CF card.
4. you keep the GBC and NES game save with L+R+A+SELECT function.

Maybe we could put this in the FAQ on this site?

Warning: DO NOT just create a 0 KB file and append it with a .sav.  When it tries to save the SRAM data to CF it apparently overwrites the file or something.  I got my CF card with a line of like Chinese characters and it wouldn't accept data.  I had to reformat.

SO - if you do that it results in total data loss.  FYI.

Copy one of the .sav files created by importing a GBA rom.  Do not create an empty file.
