I was looking for a 2gb microsd card on the internet and then i thought about looking on Ebay. So i did and they are cheaper there. So do you guys think i should order from there?? Because i dont want a fake microsd card.

Fake memory cards are rampant on Ebay. I would not risk it if I were you.

Well yes there are many fakes.  Just don't buy from China.  Try Canada, they have real ones.

That being said, the fakes aren't that bad either.  I bought a fake 2gb Mini SD a while back, it runs just as fast as the real if not faster, its just that the plastic is a little cheaper than the real thing, and the paint scratches off easy.

PS.  I bought a microsd off ebay just yesterday.

it's all about keeping reservations.

if you consider a fake to be equivalent to a generic brand, then prepare to spend the same amount for the fake as you would the generic.

if you have your heart set on a genuine product, you shouldn't really risk it for the sake of several £$â,¬'s. in the past, i've managed to buy fake cards, thinking they were real - fortunately, i got them for peanuts. it can be very hard to even tell fake from genuine. once i got a sony 2gb duo for £20, aside from the packaging, you cannot tell it's a fake. they've actually gone through the trouble of getting a genuine sony card (which i assume were broken) and replaced the electronics inside.
