"Curing" a ds lite

I flashed my ds lite with flashme.  To get it to look original, should I use stealthflashme or noflashme?  I am trying to sell it, and have to make it "look" normal.

Also, what are your opinions on saying the ds is flashed?  Would this hurt my selling potential or help it?

To look "original" and still have it flashed, you should use Flashme_stealth. I do not think it is recommended to use noflashme on a dslite.

For the opinion on helping or hurting your sale, i do not know, sorry.

it really depends who you are selling to.. who your "market" is.  If you're selling it to someone who is cautious, and unaware of the homebrew scene, mentioning that its bios has been flashed with a customized firmware might scare the buyer away.

If you are certain the buyers are familiar with the "scene", it's probably a plus for them to not have to flash it themselves.

If you want it to "appear" original, use flashmestealth.  if you want it to be original, use noflashme.

[edit] i was thinking:  if you are sure the potential buyers are the gamers themselves, and not their parents, maybe you could mention that the DS has been "unlocked" to allow homebrew and other applications to run from it, and ask them to message you for details.  Anyway, flashme's not a huge selling point anymore, as there are nopass devices everywhere (even major retailers carry the datel stuff), and I think dslink is pretty much one of the only carts to require a flashed DS (i know there are others, but i just woke up..) yeah.. i think it was DeVS or NTolerance (excuse me if I'm wrong about who it was) who just recently mentioned that after running noflashme on a Lite, Pictochat was broken

Oh MAN!! I just flashed it fine with flashme stealth version, but it was a SCARY experience.  The ds lite wouldn't flash with a coat hanger, So I had to use tin foil.

The ds turned off by itself while I was flashing at 26%!      I immediately turned it back on, and Thank God it remained at 26%.  I continued flashing up to 32% upon which it turned off by itself again!   I turned it back on, expecting the worst, but it was still at 32%.  I flashed the rest successfully.

Now the health screen loads back to normal.  Whew!

By the way, if you want to sell it on someplace like eBay, they will pay more for a flashed DS, especially when it is stealth.

Quick Q that has something to do with this: what happens if I turn of the DS BEFORE the flashing starts? I do the XBXB combo, then turn it off. It didn's pass the "safe" %3, but it didn't start the flashing process... :S

According to what I remember, you can turn it off with no problem.

However, don't go by my word.
