Any playable Japanese DS Games for non japanese speakers?

well lads, any recommendations? of the 830~ games out now, more than half seem to be japanese. Other than picking games at random to try, said id ask here for any positive experiences.

Have already tried the Naruto games, and original elite beat agents.
Naruto games arent great, but playable.

Alternatively, can anyone give a site in english that reviews these games from the english speakers perspective?

The harvest moon games. Rune Factory can be a bit of a pain without knowing japanese but I've written a guide for it, and there are lots of sites out there that give help for people who are stuck.

Also the most recent HM game was just released and I'm writing a guide for it right now.

Bokujou Monogatari (A Farm Story) is the original japanese name for the series, look them up as they're quite fun. If a bit quirky and wouldn't seemingly be fun.

seconded! menu/interface is more or less the same as elite beat agents.

picross is kinda fun, it's an almost-sudoku-like puzzle game.

You surely mean "305-Unou no Tatsujin Soukai! Machigai Museum".
And there's also "158-Touch de Rakushou! Pachislo Sengen Rio de Carnival" in this genre.

came across a site if anyone is interested. Just a forum, but they make a new post for every rom release, and give screen shots! I found it very handy for judging what new games are like, and if they're playable. Got a good few ideas for games to get that i wouldnt have normally tried.
