Just curious if Nintendogs is playable without the 2MB cart now with the new firmware and patcher?  It always froze before if you didn't have the right size cart  as soon as you tried to buy a dog (because it was automatically try to save at that point).  Since it can now save to the CF/SD card, is that fixed?  Or since it handles saves differently, does that no longer work?
