Playing pokemon works perfectly, thus far, i can save etc. So I'm in the load game section (after the title screen). I go to Wifi settings, I set it up (WIFI USB Connector) and it detects it, but when I get out it leaves me with a blank white screen.

So I boot it up again, thinking it might have worked, I go to the pokecenter to battle online. I choose standard/random battle and join game, but it shows that I'm not receiving any connection (red bar)..

Can someone help me please, Ive been searching on other forums, but it seems that I'm only one of few. Everyone else's wifi seems to work perfectly.
Help please??

I currently have SCLite Rumble

I'm also having the same problem, my wifi setting are correct because I have gone online with other games before, but when I go into either the battle area or the trade area in pokemon I get no signal.

Has anyone been to play pokemon online with a SC Lite???

I saw this on a dif forum.. didn't quiet get what he meant when he says "However, you can avoid even having to set up your WiFi connection with PKMN by setting up your WiFi settings with a different DS game and saving those settings..."; and im pretty sure it might not apply to us, but if this helps you here it is. Tell me how you did it.

He says
"A few games have given me the same exact problem in the past (Clubhouse Games...) so I'm guessing it's another randomly problematic game. However, you can avoid even having to set up your WiFi connection with PKMN by setting up your WiFi settings with a different DS game and saving those settings. Those settings will be saved as default and you won't have to set it up again in PKMN, it'll be ready to go straight online with the settings you added in that other DS game..."

What he means is that you can use another WFC-enabled game that does work and use that to set the settings, which are then saved in your DS firmware.  You then do not need to use the WFC Settings screen in Pokemon, since it will have already been setup previously.

This is a random thought that probably won't work, but is your rom trimmed?  Does leaving it untrimmed make a difference?  I seem to remember some people having issues with Wifi when trimming too much, but that's about all I know about it.

so your saying that i should dl a PKMN game that already has Wifi settings, or just any other game. I do have several games that have Wifi settings saved.

Also i do have enable trim rom on, but i did try it with that off and it still does not seem to work. Thanks for the reply, got anything else in mind?

If you've already set your WFC settings in another game, then you should be fine, and you shouldn't have to enter the WFC settings area.  I'm pretty much out of ideas though.

ok I figured out what I was doing wrong, I tried to go and battle, and to do that you need friend codes, so every time I tried connecting on that I wouldn't get signal because I didn't have anyone to connect to.  Try going to the GTS and go online through there and it should work.

hope that helps

you know i just realized that i was talking to you about the same 3 topics on the other forum... haha

I'm not surprised, as I tend to get around a bit (at a cost to my school performance, lol).  Now was it at GBAdev, PocketHeaven, DCEmu, Emuboards, DS-X, DSLinux, or Maxconsole?
