A newbie, I am, with this new SuperCard DS One card. :)

Okay, so I've read all the documents and forums/faqs/manuals/etc that there could read to prevent/fix/stop the problem, but so far it's unique.

I just received my spiffy new card in the mail and made sure my little 1GB PnY (Odd brand, but a certain site's author listed it as being one of the most compatible) MicroSD card had the proper files and folders where they should have been.

Stuffing this into the SuperCard, I popped this puppy into my DS and switched it on.

Nintendo! , of course, then fade to white .. then nothing. Hm.
I then figure I'll try the L+R test and it tells me the card is okay, along with my MicroSD card. Strange.

So, I go in, delete the files, and simply unzip their SP1 OS onto the card, which leaves you with three files and a folder titled "eng" in the main directory and pop it back in. Now it says a file is missing. Strange.

I've tried all OS versions there are, and several combinations of folders and files here or there, but the furthest I've ever gotten was a pure .. white .. screen, and nothing more. Is my SuperCard at fault? Or could it be the MicroSD? I've tried both FAT and FAT32 on it and still get the same, although with FAT32 it sometimes says it doesn't see an SD card at all.

I really want to know if I should return this for a replacement, or buy a new memory card. :/ Mayhaps someone could snap a screenshot of what the main directory of their card looks like? I might be doing something wrong.

Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Note: In the latest update I've tried once again redoing my MicroSD card, and now it occasionaly blurbs out "No Find English Ver!"

Now this is a paradox, because I have even unzipped the SP1's "eng" folder into the card, and it still does the same thing. :) Any help?

zibop, welcome to scdev!

Format your card FAT(FAT16).

Next put the file 'MSFORSC.NDS' an the folder scshell into the root dir of your microsd card. You should be good to go. Oh yeah get the latest operating system from supercard site, which is, uh, 2.0 sp1.

You should be good to go. Oh yeah you will most want to turn on patching. and if you are getting the latest roms, you will need to check the save size at www.dualscene.net, and look at the supercard compatibility list (this is getting a little a head of you though). lets get it to work first!

D'oh! Like I've said, I've done this already. It's currently FAT16, and only has that single file and the scshell directory, but it just fades to a white screen and does absolutely nothing afterwards. :(

Thanks for the information, though. I've been trying to get the SP1 to work.
