近日论坛介绍MOONSHELL多媒体播放器,在本人测试过发现功能的确很强大..而因为Sc原本的加密,所以大家转出来的MOONSHELL的NDS程序只能以载入式运行这样的确减少了影音扩展性,主要容量受到限制...而此修改版将直读CF卡解除容量限制,而且无需转换成DS格式...SD版将在近期内发布

此次发布为在MOONSHELL基础上作了修改,直接下载_BOOT_MP_EXFS_CF.nds放在CF根目录下进去后运行_BOOT_MP_EXFS_CF.nds

- 直接支持Mp3       支持MP3有以下格式：16kHz至320kbps

- 支持任意目录下放mp3文件,图片等等.....(例如:在CF根目录下新建文件夹把文件放在文件夹下,易于分类)

- 主要还是无需用MOONSHELL的程序去生成.NDS的ROM才能运行,直接复制你想要的音乐和图片到CF卡上就可以了

目前因为网站还未恢复只能先用公用下载,请大家能理解,有能力的朋友可以帮忙分流

If the translation from babelfish was correct, it says that Moonsheel can now access file directly on the CF and that the SD version will be available soon.

Can someone who speaks chinese confirms this ? I have a supercard SD, so i can not test it myself...

Somedays ago some guy in the [official Chinese] Forum introduce the use of MOONSHELL the media player, I have tested and confirm its great ability. Due to the encryption in SC, the converted MOONSHELL have to be loaded before use and it will actually decrease the quality of the media, also the capacity is limited.
This patched version can directly access CF card and there will be no more capacity limit, and also don't have to convert into DS format. SD version will be released soon.

This release is built on the foundation of MOONSHELL.
Just put the _BOOT_MP_EXFS_CF.nds into CF's root and run it directly

I asked few week ago for romman to kame this and ScummVM too

i hope he makes Scumm too .. it will be more usefull then Moonshell ( For me of couse =p )

ScumVM rocks, I have DOT and Sam&Max on my gbamp, and they are great, the latest version auto zooms to talking heads on the top screen, looks really neat.

I'm really interested in Moonshell with direct CF access on SC, but I'm not sure about this post.  Has anyone tested this file?

Personal Experience:

It works great , but not perfect.
I used Flashme to boot up and start a MP3 (VBR).
When comparing with my PDA HP4150 with media player, MOONSHELL make a clear difference.

If the media player  at my PDA score 100 , i can give 75 for MOONSHELL in terms of music quality. The interface is still at it's early development stage so don't espect much.  Some function cannot be  used yet, such as the so-called FastPlay. So it scored only 10 in terms of control.

When you are playing a song and close the NDS cover,  it continue to play so that it can save battery. Also the key is locked while closed so that the L R Button will not alter the song play.

I didn't test its battery loading yet. Maybe someone can test the battery usage.

Look forward for a better version, the program is recommended for those doesn't have a MP3  player or a PDA.
