SCSD non-rumble

after experimenting and reflashing for a bit i have reached a point where it works with some roms but not with others (all using the cheats that come with it)

so far:
Metroid Prime Hunters - Works
Super Mario Bros. -Works
Metroid Pinball - Fails
Mario Kart - Fails

not all AR codes work for a load of reasons.. different region/version ect ect... i doubt if all the AR codes were tested.

try going to code junkies and looking at the codes there, you can make a new metroid pinball scc and see if it works

true, however it is not the codes that fail, the menu simply does not show up

ill give it a go anyway

also, they fail even when using the slowdown code (wheras the ones that work also work withj slowdown)

yeah noticed that YU-GI-OH spirt caller pre made cheat does not work

mario kart ds rom 0201 kinda works the cheat for SHY GUY works but not the all cars and characters  

Mario 64 works fine for health and lives  

need to test more but got busy with actually playing Mario 64 lol

could be a case of how it was patching gba pokemon roms that we have to the EXACT DUMP with EXACT CRC as the one they made the cheat for and not just any old one !?

the other thing ive not tested with is TRIM or NO TRIM  DMA or NO DMA guessing they could also influnce it working or not

and again its being a$$ed to try them all in various combinations to see what does and doesnt work its too  much time wasting as it is

Thats  a nice list, but judging from MKDS, I think Im gonna make my own cheat .scc for every game I like.

BTW are you an industrial tech teacher?

Nope I teach MICROSUCK OFFICE mainly to business and do basic skills for those who havent used a P.C. or just starting out with one  

maby why I waffle on and go into detail a lot its a force of habit I spose lol

I get what you mean now sub catagories to cheats

there was some mention of using # symbol

as follows  example :-

where the  @ means the TITLE of the cheat and # means the SUB title

not tested these sub catagorys yet but im sure someone here has or you probs can test it

ok, i tried it and it works like the slowdown.  Hit once for L, then RL, then speed1, then 2 and so on.  This is not a good method if you want to select two cheats in the same category though

Instructions: press L+R to get 493 master balls or heart scales in the items bag(not the ball bag). Set Masterballs' quantity to the Pokemon's number you want e.g. mew is number 151 so disgard masterballs til u get 151. hold L while running in grass to encounter pokemon.
to make all wild pokemon shiny, go to your trainer card and press R+A."

I could get it to work, but could only get Arceus (number 493) to show up, discarding master balls didn't work, neither did holding L. Anyone know of this?

I'd just like to say thanks to all who helped contribute to this article, I was having a bit of trouble with my AR cheats for Pokemon Pearl but now they all work. Thanks guys .

EDIT: And to mark0217, I just tried that cheat on Arceus, Mewtwo and Bulbasaur and they all worked. I'm not sure if it's relevant but just walk normally in grass, not running or on a bike or whatever, that's what I did.
