I have a supercard ds one and i know i need something for slot 2. i basically want to spend as little as possible but since i need slot 2 i want gba support. would Supercard Lite Rumble work? do i need a microsd to use opera? thanks

Definitely not. There's no ram in the rumble series so you can't do GBA or Opera.

The easiest solution would be the EZ-V 3in1 expansion pack.  It should give you Opera compatibility and GBA support.  You use tools on the DS itself to write to the flash memory of the 3in1, so you don't need another microSD card.  

Note that you'll need a DS Lite, or you'll need to find the elusive Phat-sized 3in1s.  It looks like BambooGaming has some, as does Winsunx, but RealHotStuff should be getting some fairly soon once the stupid customs people stop holding their orders.  Most shops have the Lite-sized ones though, including RHS.

Can anyone confirm that the 3in1 will work fine with a SCDS?  I remember reading that it could not reset to the Supercard menu correctly, which prevented Opera support, but looking at the EZ-Flash forums it appears that this may have been fixed.  Can anyone shed some light on the situation?

will add here that if you shop around you may actually pick up a retail copy of OPERA BROWSER for the same price as a RAM PACK or a 3 in one some stores near me are selling it for as little as £20 due to no one buying it doh!
