Hi  :)

I.m from Brazil, so, sorry for my bad english

I've bought a new DS, but I'm experiencing a low sensibility in the middle of the touch screen. The other areas of the screen have a higher sensibility, but in the middle I need more pressure to the screen detect the touch.

Is that normal ?

Have you tried calibrating the touch screen?

Altor

If he bought a new DS, he would've had to calibrate it during the first-time setup if I remember correctly... might still be worth trying again though I guess.

No, it's not normal, if you can't fix it, exchange it for another one as soon as possible.

Hi

Before going through the hassle of returning it, aren't their some homebrew apps that fix touch-screen problems? I've never had to use them so I don't remember much, but I recall reading about them.
