Is there anywhere I can get FREE PSP game and movie downloads?  Every site I searched needed to pay.

http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=downloads (Beware the rest of the site. The news page is the Enquirer of the video game world.)

I think some of these places require you to register but its free. These links are all for homebrew and emulators. No warez. As for movie downloads why not just transcode your own? If you mean UMD movies they can be found in the usual places that can't be mentioned here.

Vapourstreak

Perseid, can you email me the links?  Is that legal?

Thanks

Hi

Torrent links are allowed here I recall DEVS saying...

What are Torrent Links?

Hi

It's complicated... and to be honest if you're not using torrents (torrent links are links to torrents) I advise you to not start as it's not a very safe form of piracy, not to mention addiciting.

Actually, I don't know a specific place to get UMD movies. I would just assume places like thepiratebay and demonoid have them. I wouldn't even download a 1GB version of a movie I could only watch on a little screen. :)

Uh-oh.. I think this thread will close shop soon. :)
DS Lite Onyx Black
Supercard Lite
Nintendo Wii (US)
PSP (Metal Gear PO Limited Edition)

it's better to just convert normal 720x480 (ntsc dvd resolution) movies to 480x272 mpeg-4 files.  If you use the AVC mpeg4 codec, there's not much benefit to using UMD rips.

Believe it or not, some of them are very watchable on a computer monater. I've never downloaded UMD's ether, but it seems to me that they would be the same as what I have downloaded... Mp4 files made to played on video I-pods.

I was very happily suprised to find out that the files were very small, and that the amount of pixles was actually quite reasonable. I was able to watch the vids just fine- no complaints. I won't say that I couln't tell, but it certainly didn't bother me.

UMDs online would need to be ISOs of the original UMD. The video itself is probably viewable on a computer but the disk itself is probably not. That's why UMDs suck.
