G6 Real DLDI Driver - Where is it?

Just got a G6 Real, upgraded to the System Software v2.0a and even though the specifications say it has auto-DLDI patching none of the homebrew that uses DLDI that I've tried work. They all complain about needing the driver. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong or if there is a driver someplace to download? Any help would be appreciated.

We're waiting for it too. It's suppose to be out this month sometime. So just keep checking their site everyday.

Well...today is the 30th, the last day of June. Do you think the G6 Team is going to get there new firmware out today?

Me too...unfortunately.

I mean, I really love this cart, even more the my CycloDS. But it just seems like the G6 Team has been doing a lot of lying on it. Well, not a lot, but some. First 100% download play compatibility(which we all know this can actually be done now), and now this DLDI driver, that is suppose to be out in June.

I'm not being fair though. After all, June is not over. So for all I know, the new firmware could have been done for a week now, but they're just sitting on it until the last day of the month. I don't know...hope it comes out soon. I know that I'm not the only one looking forward to this new update.

I feel the same way h8uthemost. It is a tough decision between G6DS Real and CycloDS Evolution, thankfully I have 2 DS's and I use one on each.

But if the G6DS Real releases a DLDI patch, I might reconsider and use it on both.

Thank you for posting this Pharoah, i'm very excited again. Hopefully they get this out within the next day or so. I emailed the G6 team a while back about this, and they said they'll get out in June.

And yeah, i'm always switching out my G6 Real and CycloDS from DS its hard to pick which one to use.

My girl took her DS back, so i no longer have two DS's here. So you're lucky.

Well I had to get a second DS for download play tests, and with all the rumors about a new Supercard slot 1, a new EZ Flash V loader with new capabilities, some new DS Link firmware, and of course the download play update for the R4, it seems like I might need to keep it for at least the next little while.

I love the G6DS Real's menu, but then the CycloDS Evolution has functionality. It is often hard to choose, similar between my R4 and DS Link.

There's a rumor about a new SCDS1? Wow, I didn't read that. I'm gonna hold off and getting one though.

And yeah, I'm going to order an EZ V. I've always wanted one, and with this new loader, it just gives me an excuse to buy another flash cart. And plus...I can get it for $28 from DealExtreme.

Yea, I forgot exactly who I heard it from, but the Supercard Team would not give them a review sample because they were too busy working on "a new flash cart", they would be able to review that cart later on.

I've heard the autopatcher is here, and the DLDI file must have been released since it's been added to DLDIrc, so I'm guessing yes.

Download it at GBAtemp, or DsDatabase forums.

It hasn't been officially release on handheldsources, so I'm not sure if this is an official release yet or not. You might want to wait for that. A lot of people are having trouble with this release.
