Do not give negative karma to someone unless they make a really crappy post.  An example of a crappy post would be spam, flaming, one-word reply, etc.  Members that continually assign negative karma for no good reason will have their karma privileges revoked.

How can I see the negative / positive carma I've been given

Is it used for anything, i.e. user rating or is that at Admin's discretion (I'd love to not be a kooper trooper :-) )

its called + and - REPUTATION on other forums/boards and from experience on a lot of forums ...its ALWAYS ABUSED and ends up getting removed due to abuse

And yeah, I can only imagine the abuse this'll bring about.  Then again, I've seen a few boards that still had it, but I can't recall why they had them or if anyone even thought about it...
